please make a user friendly way to send a link to friends so they can look at your mugshow-besides cutting and pasting the url

Better sharing options to social network sites
Look at what some of the newcomers to the field are doing like Everyday photo - I'd consider moving except for the time I'd already invested in DMS
Improve iPhone app to be a viewer/browser too
Add ability to take picture and store if no 3G available then update later
Make sure that a picture can be taken when there is no internet available, which can be uploaded later on.
Also would I like more space to write captions, so that you can write down what exactly happened on the day.
It would be neat if there were a link to embed/show the mugshow or a .gif (of up to a certain point, if a direct/updating one wasn't possible)
on outside pages.
So I could post mine in a blog, showcase someone else's (if their link is made public) etc..
Ever hear of Pummelvision. They give you the option with Dailybooth, Tumblr, Facebook etc. to make a compilation of all your photos with music and you can post it on either Vimeo or YouTube. Do that, I think that would help fulfill the purpose of this site.
I cant even sign in at the moment. So why not worry about getting things figured out first?? Ive requested a new password 3 times now. And NONE is working. How do i get access now??
I can't login! I put my name and password and there's no answer. Not even if the password is incorect. No answer at all. It's been days like this.

How bout making the Take picture link/button different so you don't have to look for it in the big nav. or put a icon before it so it's noticeable.
and i find the home page way to messy, it's like a lot of information coming at ya, i'd like to see it simplistic hehe
It would be nice if you could enlarge your chosen photo en copy it, so you can use it for other things/networks
I like the reminder to be clicked away when I want. Now it is not movable and annoying.
1. I'm very glad with the daily reminders, but I don't want to receive them when I just took my mugshot...
Should be possible to verify you haven't taken one in the last 12 hours or so, before sending the e-mail?
2. I'd like to be able to write a caption in my Daily Mug-app.
3. I'd like to be able to e-mail or get the url to one particular mugshot, instead of the whole show.
4. I think it's more logic that your last taken mugshot is the first one to see in your mugshow (and the oldest one the last).

I would like that pics can be stretch or shrink in order to fit with others photos.
I want to share my mugshot publicly, but not who are my favorites.
Could you make some settings options so that part of my profile is private? If not I don't feel confident of following more people.

BASIC stuff: make the "take a picture" landing page fit into the page without scrolling. Many times I just want to click the link in my inbox smile to the camera and shoot with one click. Scrolling makes the process slower and the alert messages above the camera view are unnecessary there.

I'd like to be able to download a playable or even a zip file of all the mugshots I've taken so far. Would even willing to pay for it if needed. I've been taking mugshots almost on a daily basis for more than two years and would love to be able to download copies of them to store on my hard drive. But I'd still return to continue the series at DMS.
PLEASE make it compatible with OSX Lion, the adobe flash camera has no compatibility neither with snow leopard nor with lion. if you could make a html5 camera device i think it would be great for everybody

yes, i want the ability to download the photos so i can save them to my own computer and do something with them on my own -- create a video, my own book, etc. that would be amazing. i LOVE this service, and that is the ONE thing i think is lacking.

Would love to be able to adjust the default speed of my widget. Most of my users would like it a little slower.
I have 230 pictures but when I play my mug show it only flips through 4 pictures. I've been asking for help on this for a while...could we get that fixed

Same as Sarah's World just said above. My mugshow freezes ~80 photos in (and I've taken >400). At one point, it seemed like the issue was fixed but now it's doing it again.

Is there something wrong with Daily Mugshot? Last Saturday, Oct. 15th, it was down for me all day and now both yesterday and today, the site has been down. (Oct. 22 and 23) I realized it's trivial, but I'm a bit disappointed my 100% is now trashed.
Also, is there anywhere we can get updates when things are happening? It's sad I have to post on such an old thread. :(

I am over 900 shots, and would love to be able to download them from a single page (or a zip file as Dr Moon suggested), but a single page of text links would work brilliantly with down them all (or similar) and shouldn't take a whole lot of coding :)
I can no longer email my photo...the link to update account just gives an error. I emailed from help, but no response.

Cannot create account, been over a week. Emailed. No response. Many here have expressed this issue has been ongoing since October.
I know this is a free service, but it's clearly popular. Let's get it together people -- either fix the issue or at least post an update on the blog and let us know what's going on, it's the least you could do.
Is DM dead? Will it be fixed? Is it a funding issue? Hosting? I'm a web designer and a web host, if you need help I'd be happy to give it.
Just give your fans an honest answer.
I went to do my DMS this morning and got a "page does not exist" thing. I went to the DMS homepage and tried to log in, but when I hit "login now", it reloads the DMS homepage.
I hope it's fixed soon; I enjoy using DMS.
Help -- cannot log in today via iPhone or web site.
I've been unable to log in, request a new password and browse gallery for over a week now. I got an email up until the 23rd "reminding" me to take my picture, but without being able to log in, this is pointless. I haven't had any reminders since 23rd though.

Still no acknowledgement of the problems of the last week on the blog here. I don't know why you bother to HAVE a blog if you're not going to use it to let people know what's going on.
I see new features, so I assume you shut it down for development testing or something - which is an odd way to go about it if that's the case.
Still, glad it's working again. I'm going to download all my pics now in case you crash forever and I lose them!

Is the website down?
Obviously this issue has been going on a while and I'm not the first to mention it, but since October I have had good days and bad days with DMS. Some days, like today, you get a 404 error and the page never shows up. Other days its an issue logging in where the website wont respond to any login attempts. Some days it works perfectly fine. I'm hoping for one of those days to happen again soon so I can download all of my pictures before the site fails completely. I've always loved DMS and I hope they get their issues resolved soon as well as update their blog every once in a while.
After being down a couple/few days, I'm able to log in and take a pic, but I noticed ALL of my own comments I left on my page are now showing up. That's really embarrassing, since if I'd make a mistake, I'd delete and repost. I actually ended up deleting all my posts except the last one.
Please, please let me delete all my posted comments again. I'm tempted to set my DMS to private until this issue is fixed. :(
Eep - I had 18 pictures and today I only have 7 - also the ability to download them has vanished and my reminder keeps taking me to a page that doesn't exist.
I have been a loyal user of Daily Mugshot for years and was noticing that the last couple days it has been down, which had be a little sad because I'm on my honeymoon. Now it appears the last 14 days of my photos are gone, which means my once in a lifetime wedding photo is GONE. I am beyond upset about this. I have taken over 500 mugshots in just this account, I believe I took over 400 on a different account. I am so angry that the last 14-15 days disappear during this redesign.
What is the point of a blog if you don't even update us on what's going on?
The site is borked. Sometimes it opens, sometimes not. When it does it's showing me my first pics, not my latest, they are in reverse order and none are ticked so if I try to see my mugshow, it's blank.
The alignment marks are gone, the link to set them up is missing.
I'd like to download all of my pics so I can at least do something with them myself but the link to do that is also missing.
I've invested YEARS in this and I'm pretty pissed off that it seems I've wasted my time since there now appears to be no way to retrieve my work.
The LEAST you can do is use this blog to tell us what's going on.

Is the post to Facebook or Twitter option gone forever? I can't find it on any of the account screens (on the random occasions where the site allows me to stay logged in long enough to browse around).
Where is the "options page"? The TOS states that "You may terminate your account at any time, for any reason, by following the instructions on the options page." Yet there appears to be NO options page.
Is Daily Mugshot still a functioning website? No updates on Blogger or Facebook for years. No replies to emails or comments.

Does anyone know of a more reliable website that is similar to Dailymugshot? I have not been able upload a photo successfully to the site in almost 30 days via cpu or my phone. There is no contact page to even bother to send a message. The site it seems to me is a ghost town. I still like the concept but I need a website that I actually can count on and unfortunately it seems to me this one no longer is it.

I used to download my pictures from my dailymugshot, but since the interface was changed I am not allowed to do it anymore.
I’m missing this feature as well as other friends and probably more people on the Internet.
I would like to be able to get the .jpgs of my pictures and I would be really grateful to know if there is still a method do so.

Like several others, I'd like to be able to download my pics. Even if I could had to do it one at a time, that would be okay. I can download the thumbnails, but they aren't large enough to be used for my facebook, twitter, and linkedin profile pics. That's what I would want to use them for. I enjoy what you do otherwise! I just discovered that even though I chose for my account to be private, my pics are showing on the home page. That's really shitty.

The site appears to be live and able to take new pics. There are even apps for it on Google Play, which means someone, somewhere, in the recent-enough-past has updated the app.
Many of us have done this for years (myself: three years) and are disappointed in the inability to download our photos, paste a working link, or even get an accurate DMS to play.
If there aren't any more people that actively work the DMS site, it would be nice if they would (in their spare, unpaid time) notify every via the site. Then we can decide what to do.

I think Daily Mugshot is not being manned and hasn't been for a long time. There's no way to contact Daily Mugshot. They've set it up so no one can delete their account or their pictures. You could start advertising or showing nudity and no one will do anything to stop you as far as I can tell...
Why doesn't the facebook link work anymore?
I would love if you could tie in to instagram somehow. In lieu of that, I would like the option to download the photo (without the + sign eye markers) after it's taken and before you shrink it. Pretty please and Thanks!
I've worked out a way to save your images!
Go to the My Mugshow page (the one with all the thumbnails) and save the page as HTML from your browser (right click or look under the File menu). You want HTML only. Open that HTML page in any text editor and do a find and replace in the actual coding (don't worry, you don't need to understand what it all means), changing every instance of the word "thumb" to the word "full" (no spaces before or after, and don't include the quotation marks). When it's done, save and open that page in a browser (just drag it into a browser window or, from your browser, go to File > Open File).
What you get is a page with the full sized images of all your pics on it, which you can then save. If you Save (or Save As) from your browser as "Web Page Complete" (or whatever your browser calls it), it automatically creates an images folder with all your pics in it.
They numbering system means they are all in random order when you look in the images folder but if you sort by date it puts them back in order so you can rename the files numerically, if you're so inclined (which I am).

None of my mugshots are showing up past 227 - And I noticed that my counter only shows that I have taken 11. I assured check marks were only applied to images I didn't want to show up in the mugshow, but still others recently taken are not showing up. Halp!
What would be nice in DM:
- an easy overview of all followers/favourites where a mouse-over movement shows you their last update date.
- an easy deletion of fav's and followers no longer in existance/updates
- easy deletion of own pictures
- a redo for pictures that didn't go well
- an FB and Tweeter button for easy sharing
- a built-in cappuccino machine ;-)

Also would be nice:
- to be able to select recent updated accounts to view
- better mobile support from Android app (my photos always get updated upside down)
